The Crystal Palace, Sydenham & Ed Kluz

Ed Kluz is possessed with that rare ability to capture the greatness and beauty of buildings both historic or long-destroyed through his paintings.

For our summer exhibition we only have two of his works on show, (demand rather exceeds supply), but they rank amongst the finest that we have handled. The first is a wonderful view of the conservatory at Enville Hall in Staffordshire, which was built in 1853 and demolished between 1920 and 1950. The second is of the Crystal Palace in its location at Sydenham, a building of remarkable architectural engineering and great historical importance which stood until 1936 before being destroyed by fire.

If this is the standard being set by Ed for the future, his solo show, based on great Tudor Houses, in August and September this year will be truly remarkable. Please contact us for more details.
