After graduating from Loughborough school of Art I briefly worked for a small scale touring theatre company and later helped out at a top London fashion house, I also did some travelling before setting up my jewellery business in 1984. Since then my business has gone from strength to strength. I have branched out in many directions and experimented with a wide range of materials, techniques and styles of design.

Today my work can be seen in many leading galleries covering the length and breadth of the U.K and my bridal wear has featured in numerous publications. I also design and make bespoke jewellery for my clients, and have been involved in working with theatre, television and film.I deliver workshops throughout the year and run jewellery courses at The University of Nottingham. I am a Nottingham based artist working from a city centre studio.

My latest range has been inspired by the incredibly vibrant colours achieved in the process of dying anodized aluminium. This technique fuses the dye to the metal to create a permanent surface pattern. For years I have been experimenting with this method which enables me to create individual, exciting and light weight one off pieces of body adornment. My new range of jewellery ‘THE BIG BANG’ was launched at the British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate this year. This collection was based on the beauty of the stars and the planets in our Universe, which as you can see are bold, bright, and strong in design.

In my other life I am a mother, and the lead singer in the band Magic Car, which has had great acclaim around Europe and the USA.
