Member of the Northern Potters' Association.

Born in Yorkshire in 1964, Fiona’s work is noticeably influenced by landscape, the forces creating it, and by human impact upon it.

Each piece is hand-built and bisque fired to 980°. The final firing is Raku, the drama of which appeals to her both
as a maker, and as an appropriate way to finish the work. Fiona completed her HND course in design crafts in 2003, receiving a distinction. She specialised in ceramics,
in the Raku process, and is skilled in Kiln building.
