kittie jones
Edinburgh artist Kittie Jones recently graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University with an MA in Fine Art – Drawing and Painting. She undertook her MA after a year’s art foundation at The Leith School of Art, where she now works as a tutor whilst continuing to produce her own drawings and prints for national exhibitions.
Kittie’s work is quirky yet obtainable and shows a curiosity concerned with the unusual and for that imagery which lies outside of the everyday. She is fascinated by settings such as the museum and the fairground and by light colour, labels, text, shapes, and the artificial within such settings.
