Angela enjoys the stimulation of creating compositions from ideas and recollections which, whilst providing a starting point, do not involve a pre-conceived vision of the end result.  

Working predominantly in oil, she lets the painting lead the way whereby its creation becomes a journey of discovery. The process often involves frequent reworking until eventually the final image emerges. Whatever memories and concepts may have been the underlying source of her abstract works, Angela believes that the finished work is its own entity which may be open to varied interpretations depending upon the experiences of the individual viewer.
